Dr. Johnny Thomas,
Chairman:


Dr. Thomas has been a Director of the Company since January 2005. He is Dean of the School of Business at La Sierra University in Riverside, California, where since 1988 he has taught finance, economics and entrepreneurship. Dr. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in new venture start-ups, mergers, acquisitions, capital sourcing, research and development both domestically and internationally.

A creative thinker committed to integrity, compassion, and entrepreneurship, Thomas has mentored many businesses in combining both theoretical and practical acumen to solve business problems and is considered by many as a innovative and creative “deal maker.” He has received numerous awards honoring his success as a motivational teacher, among them, the Freedom Foundation’s Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education (1998), the Zapara Award for Teaching Excellence (1996) and the Riverside Chambers of Commerce Hero Award for Community Leadership (1995). Dr. Thomas holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing, an MA in Political Economy and a PhD in Economics and Politics from Claremont Graduate University.


Byron del Castillo, Founder, and CEO:


Mr. del Castillo has served as a Director of the Company from inception until October 2004 and has served as its Chief Technology Officer since inception. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Operations for Elsafe, Inc. (now VingCard), the largest provider of in-room communicating safes, and security systems to the hospitality industry. Mr. del Castillo had also served as Technical Operations Manager for SpectraVision, Inc. (now On Command Video/Lodgenet), the largest provider of interactive video and movie services to the hospitality industry.

He is an eight-year veteran of the United States Navy, having worked closely with Lockheed-Martin Corporation and Sanders & Associates as a participant in the development, maintenance and testing of state of the art communication, cryptography and radio frequency jamming and surveillance equipment. With many years in support of U.S. Special Forces and Navy flight operations, Mr. del Castillo has significant experience with a wide range of communications, data transmission and surveillance technologies. Mr. del Castillo was also co-founder and Vice President of Technical Operations for BoundaryRider Communications, Inc. He led BoundaryRider’s technology development and deployment operations, while overseeing all software development, data management and reporting functions including interaction and analysis with MSO's, leading to new service and product improvements. Mr. del Castillo also served as a consultant in plant surveying, plant design and load engineering for Comcast and Charter Communications. Mr. del Castillo was educated at the University of Maryland in College Park and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.




Allen Higgins, Vice President of Manufacturing:


Mr. Higgins became Architron’s Vice President of Manufacturing upon Architron’s acquisition of WiFi-PLUS, Inc. He was the Co-Founder of WiFi-PLUS, where he served as Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2005 and President from 2005 until its acquisition by Architron.  Prior to WIFi-PLUS, Mr. Higgins was the Founder of All Com Communications, Ltd., a two-way satellite communications company, from July 2000 to July 2004.  Mr. Higgins also worked for the Ford Motor Company for 28 years.  He served as Manufacturing Engineering Reliability & Maintainability Coordinator at Ford’s Cleveland Casting Plant from 1994 to 2001, and before that at Ford’s Cleveland Engine Plant #2 from 1973 to 1994.  While at Ford, he also completed a four year apprenticeship program, obtaining an Associates degree.  Mr. Higgins served in the United States Marine Corp 1964 to 1967, which included combat duty in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966.
